Regional plan for Ujjain

Preparation of the Regional plan for Core City Ujjain includes interventions in the area abutting the Mahakal Temple to facilitate religious tourism. Our proposal is to keep the locals at the centre alongside facilitating religious tourism by providing neighbourhood-level open spaces and economic opportunities. The approach is to right-size the right-of-way for the road and not road widening as otherwise envisioned so as to create people-oriented public realm.
